NDA EXAM 2022

NDA 2022 Exam Pattern 

  • The NDA 2022 exam will be conducted in two meetings. There will be two papers in the NDA exam Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT).
  • The exam is conducted in an objective pattern. The questions are provided in both English and Hindi.
  • 2.5 hours will be given for each exam.
  • Paper I consists of 120 questions and is of 300 marks. The first exam starts at 10 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. One can refer to the syllabus section for the distribution of topics.
  • Paper II has 150 questions and is of 600 marks. The second exam starts at 2 p.m. till 4:30 p.m.

NDA 2022 Interview

After the successful conclusion of written test, candidates who will be selected in the result/ merit list can go for SSB interview process. The SSB interview process will be of two stages – Stage I and Stage II.

Stage I comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are picture perception & description test (PP & DT). Stage II comprises of interview, group testing officer tasks, psychology test and the conference. These tests will be organised over 4 days.

    NDA 2022 Exam Details: National Defence Academy (NDA) is a national-level defence entrance exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year. The exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) and National Defence Academy (NDA).

    NDA 2022 Exam Eligibility Criteria

    The aspiring candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the NDA Exam. The eligibility criteria are a crucial part of the NDA exam else the candidature stands cancelled. The NDA Eligibility Criteria is discussed below in detail.

    Nationality

    • The Individual must be an Indian citizen, or
    • He may be a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, or
    • He is a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1st, 1962 with an intention of permanently settling in India.
    • Individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from the countries – Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries – Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with an intention of permanent settlement.
    • The certificate of eligibility is issued by the government of India to the Indian citizens and subjects of Nepal.
    • Certificate of eligibility issued to the foreign nationals is not necessary to be produced by the Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

    Age Limit and Relaxation

    • For the NDA (I) 2022 exam, the candidates who are born not before 2nd July 2003 and not after 1st July, 2006 are eligible.
    • For the NDA (II) 2022 exam, the candidates born between 2nd January 2004 and 1st January 2007 are eligible.
    • The candidates who are of 16 1/5 years or above and not more than 191/5 years are eligible for the exam.
    • The candidate must write the date of birth as mentioned in the matriculate certificate, secondary school leaving certificate or any other equivalent certification recognised by the Indian University. No other document for proof of date of birth will be accepted by the commission.

    Sex & Marital Status

    • The exam is only eligible for male candidates who fall under the above-mentioned age criteria.
    • Both male and female candidates must be unmarried throughout the selection process as well as till the training is completed.
    • If a candidate marries before training, they will not be selected.
    • If a candidate marries during training, he/she will be discharged and liable to pay all the expenditure incurred on him during the training by the government.

    Educational Qualification

    • Candidates who are 12th class pass under the 10+2 pattern of education from any state board or equivalent examination are eligible for the Army wing of the National Defence Academy.
    • For the Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy, candidates must have a 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or appear in one, of a 10+2 pattern of school education from any state board or equivalent.



    Physical Standard

    Those clearing the NDA & NA 2022 SSB interview round will be called for the NDA physical fitness or medical test round. In this stage the physical and mental state of the candidate will be tested by the authorities. If they fail to meet the prescribed medical standards by the authorities they will be disqualified.     NDA 2022 Application Process

    The steps to fill the NDA Application Form 2022 are as follows:

    Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC.

    Step 2: Click on “ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC”.

    Step 3: Click on “Click Here for PART I” and read the instructions carefully and click on “Yes”.

    Step 4: On page 1 fill in the details such as name, gender, date of birth, parents’ name, nationality, etc., and click on “continue”.

    Step 5: On page 2, select the numbers from 1 to 4 or mark ‘0’ if you do not want to give any preference. Those who are from Sainik/Military School or Son of JCO/NCO/Other Rank Officer must fill pages 3 & page 4.

    Step 6: Pay the application fees via any online payment mode at your convenience.

    Step 7: Select the examination centre and upload a Photograph and Signature.

    Step 8: Download the application form and take a printed copy for future reference.

    NDA 2022 Application Fees

    • The application fee for the NDA Exam is INR 100.
    • SC and ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fees.
    • The application fees can be through online mode or by depositing the money in any branch of SBI Bank.



    NDA 2022 Exam Admit Card

    UPSC releases the NDA Admit Card on the official website three weeks prior to the exam. The NDA Admit card bears the exam related details like the student’s name, roll number, exam centre, exam date & timing, etc. The candidates will not be permitted to appear in the examination without their admit card.

    Steps to Download NDA Admit Card 2022

    The steps to download the NDA Admit Card are as follows:

    • Visit the official website of UPSC.
    • Search and Click on the link ‘Download NDA Admit Card 2022’.
    • You will be redirected to an instruction page, read it carefully and agree to the terms and conditions.
    • Another page will open with options for Roll number or Registration number, choose either and in the fill your date of birth in the text box.
    • Also, a CAPTCHA image will appear, enter the image that you see. Click on submit.
    • A soft copy of your NDA Admit card will appear.
    • Click on print and download the admit card.

    NDA 2022 Exam Centres

    The NDA exam is conducted in multiple states and the candidates are allotted centres according to the preferences they fill in the application form.

    • The allotment of centres is done on a first-apply-first-allot basis.
    • If the desired centres are not allotted due to full capacity at some of the centres, the candidate has to choose another centre.

    The exam centres have limited seats, for which candidates are advised to apply early to get their preferred exam centre.

      CTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

      The Eligibility Criteria is different for selecting candidates to the post of teacher for Classes I-V and for Classes VI-VIII. Let’s have a look at the Educational Qualification required by the candidates for both these sections:

      Educational Qualification for Classes I-V

      1. A candidate who has completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) OR
      2. A candidate who has completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam securing minimum 45% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration), according to the NCTE Regulations 2002. OR
      3. A candidate who has completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with minimum 50% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration).OR

      Educational Qualification for Classes VI-VIII

      1. A candidate who holds a Graduation degree and has passed or is appearing in final year examination of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR
      2. A candidate who has completed his/her Graduation degree with 50% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Bachelor in Education. OR
      3. A candidate who has completed his/her Graduation degree with 40% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of Bachelor in Education, according to NCTE regulations. OR
      4. A candidate who has completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with minimum 50% marks and has cleared or appearing in final year exam of 4 years duration Bachelor of Elementary Education. OR

      CTET 2021 Exam Pattern

      CTET 2021 Exam will be conducted in two phases:

      1. Paper I
      2. Paper II

      Paper I is conducted for candidates who have been looking forward to become teacher for Class I to V and Paper II is conducted for candidates who aspire to become teacher for Class VI to VIII.       CTET Validity

      The validity of CTET certificate for appointment has been revised and now the certificate will remain valid throughout life. The revised validity has been made effective from 2011 as announced by the Education Minister and the candidates whose certificates are expired can get their new certificate with no expiry. It has been declared that the States and UTs will be responsible for revalidating or re-issue TET certificates to the candidates whose period of 7 years has already expired (after 2011). Earlier, the validity of CTET certificate was for 7 years (from the date of issue).

      CTET 2021 Exam Application Process

A candidate belonging to either General or OBC category is required to pay Rs. 1000/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 1200/- (if applying for both the papers). The same amount is reduced to Rs. 600/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 600/- (if applying for both the papers) for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

      CTET Cut-Off

      The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued with a mark sheet. The Candidates securing 60% (General) and above marks will be issued an Eligibility Certificate for which the validity has been extended from 7 years to a lifetime period.

      School Managements (Government, Local bodies, Government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to the person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.

              SSC CHSL 2024 Eligibility Criteria

              Nationality/Citizenship

              A candidate must be either of the following:

              • A citizen of India
              • A subject of Nepal
              • A subject of Bhutan
              • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
              • A person of Indian origin migrated from either/or Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

              Note: All candidates (other than citizens of India) need to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India when asked by the authorities. As per the official notification, the offer of appointment will be issued to such candidates only after they produce the certificate of eligibility.  



              Age Limit

              In order to fulfil SSC CHSL 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates must be aged between 18 and 27 years as on 1 August, 2024. This means that candidates should be born not before August 2, 1995 and not later than August 1, 2004.

              The Staff Selection Commission provides relaxation in the upper age limit to candidates belonging to different reserved categories. The permissible limit in age criteria for reserved categories is as mentioned below:

              Educational Qualification

              Post-wise educational qualification that candidates need to obtain fulfil SSC CHSL eligibility are:

              • For Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO): Candidates should clear Class 12 or possess an equivalent qualification from a recognised board or university
              • For DEO (Grade A) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Candidates should pass Class 12 in Science stream 

              with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised board or equivalent

              Note: Candidates who are yet to appear for Class 12 exams are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates need to present the documentary evidence of clearing Class 12 latest by August 1, 2024, informs the official website. 



              SSC CHSL 2024 Exam Pattern

              The examination is held in three stages.

              1. Computer-based Test: The first stage of the examination is the computer-based objective type. The questions will be set in English as well as in Hindi comprising of English language basic knowledge (25 questions of total 50 marks), general knowledge (26 questions of 50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude of basic arithmetic skills (25 questions of 50 marks) and general awareness (25 questions of 50 marks).
              1. Descriptive Written Test: The second stage of examination is of the descriptive type comprising of letter writing/application writing (the single question of 50 marks) and essay writing (the single question of 50 marks). This stage of the test will be held in “pen and paper” mode. Letter/application should be written in 150 – 200 words and essay should be written in 200 – 250 words.
              1. Typing test: The third stage of the test shall be the “typing/skill test”. The skill test for Data Entry Operator a Data Entry Speed of 8,000 depression of keys per hour on the computer is the minimum requirement. For the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, the minimum speed of Key depression should be 15,000 per hour for a Data Entry Operator. The typing test is conducted for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and the words per minute in Hindi.

              This segment includes questions of verbal as well as non-verbal categories. The questions will also be specially designed on history, geography, scientific research, economic scene, and general policy.

              • Click on the “Apply” tab and then on SSC CHSL.
              • The following window will open on the screen.

              SSC CHSL Application 2024: Photo and Signature Specifications 

              AS mentioned above, the documents- passport size photograph and signature, must be uploaded keeping in mind the specifications. More details about the said specifications are given below.

              SSC CHSL 2024 Admit Card

              The admit card for all stages of CHSL 2024 shall be issued by SSC at least two weeks before the dates of the respective examinations. The SSC CHSL Admit card will be available region-wise on the website of the commission. The candidates who qualify in the first stage of the examination shall be issued a separate admit card for the stage 2 examination. They should take the printout and carry the examination hall ticket to the examination centre. Applicants have to download their admit card online as the commission does not send the hall ticket online or by post.

              SSC CHSL 2024 Answer Key

              The Answer Key for the SSC CHSL stage 1 examination shall be available online by the commission for all the subjects. The candidates are required to download the answer key for checking the correct answer to all the questions. The answer key is very helpful to the candidates for calculating their expected score and analysing their performance in the examination. Also, the candidates will have an opportunity to submit representation against the provisional answer key in case of any doubt of anomaly.

              SSC CHSL 2024 Result

              The result of the CHSL 2024 exams will be announced in online mode. Candidates can check the result by visiting the official website of SSC. Candidates who clear the Tier I exam will be eligible for tier II and clearing tier II will make them eligible for the skill test and candidates who clear the tier III (skill test) will be called for document verification.

                The SSC CHSL Tier I exam is a computer-based online test (CBT) exam conducted online.                 Questions from the General Awareness section are designed to test the candidate’s general knowledge of the environment around him and its 14 applications to society.                 SSC CHSL 2022 Tier-II Exam Pattern

                SSC CHSL Tier-II exam is a descriptive paper of 100 marks conducted in Pen and Paper mode only for the candidates who qualified Tier I. There is no negative marking for wrong attempts in the SSC CHSL Tier-II exam.

                The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. Candidates must secure a minimum of 33% marks in order to clear the Tier II round of the SSC CHSL Exam.

                Skill test for the post of Data Entry Operator:

                In this test, a candidate should have a data entry speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour.

                The duration of the Test is 15 minutes and an English document having about 2000-2200 strokes/key-depressions is given to type.

                Skill test for the post of Data Entry Operator in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG):

                The ‘speed of 15000 key depressions per hour will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/key depressions as per the given passage.

                The duration of the test will be for 15 minutes and printed matter in English containing about 3700-4000 key-depressions would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the test computer.

                Skill test for the post of Lower Division Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (LDS/JSA) and Postal Assistants/ Sorting Assistants (PA/SA):

                The speed of 10500 key depressions per hour will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/key depressions as per the given passage.

                The duration of the test will be for 15 minutes and printed matter in English containing about 9000 key-depressions/hour would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the test computer.
