Assam Olympiad 2021 Admit Card : National testing Agency has released the admit cards for Assam Olympiad 2021.The Assam Olympiad is aimed at bringing the most talented secondary and higher secondary students of Govt. schools of Assam together in a friendly competition of the highest level. The Assam Olympiad provide a stimulus to begin a career in science or mathematics, to undertake a lifelong journey into the realms of exciting intellectual challenges. The exam will be conducted for the students from classes 6th to 12th from Govt schools of Assam state only.

Assam Olympiad 2021 Exam details

Scheme of exam: Question paper will be separate for each Class.

Note: Section II for Classes XI and XII will comprise 3 sub sections on Physics, Chemistry and Biology, of 10 questions each.

Timing of Examination : Session I: 08.30 am to 11.30 am -(For Class VI, VII, VIII and IX)
Session II: 01.30 pm to 04.30 pm-(For Classes X, XI and XII)



Mode of Exam: The exam will be held in paper pen mode. Candidates will be required to mark their answers on OMR answer sheets.
Paper pattern: The paper will be objective and will comprise Multiple Choice Questions.
Eligibility: Candidates who are presently studying in Class VI to Class XII in Govt. Schools located in the State of Assam are eligible to apply/appear in the exam.

Duration of the exam: 3 hours
Exam fee: Nil, Candidates are not required to pay any exam fee.
Exam Cities: Exam will be held at 145 cities in Assam. See Annexure I of the Information Bulletin for the list of exam cities.
Language of the paper: Question paper will be in Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, and English. Candidates can opt for any one of the languages specified.

Post examination process:

  1. After the conduct of examinations, experts shall verify the answer keys for the set that has been administered.
  2. NTA will display Provisional Answer Keys & recorded responses of each student (accessible through unique enrolment no) on the website https://ao.nta.ac.in on a date communicated through students through NTA website and public notice/press release in advance.
  3. The candidates, who are not satisfied with the answer key, may challenge by filling online application form ONLY. No fee will be charged from the candidates.
  4. Experts examine the challenges received, and if needed key is revised.
  5. The result will be compiled on the basis of final answer keys.
  6. No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after declaration of result will be entertained. The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained.



Declaration of The Result

Declaration of results:
Results will be displayed on the website https://ao.nta.ac.in, in the month of April 2021. A Public Notice will be released on the NTA website www.nta.ac.in announcing the date when the results will be declared.
All those who appeared in the exam will be provided a Score Card giving the details of the exam in which they appeared and the marks secured by them in the said exam.
Those who appeared in the exam will also be given as Participation Certificate.

Step 2. On the homepage, find and click on the link that reads: ‘Download Admit Card (Click here)’

Step 3. A new page will open. Enter your application number and date of birth

Step 4. Click on the ‘Submit’ button. The Assam Olympiad hall ticket 2021 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download the hall ticket and keep a copy of it in good condition for future reference.

SSC Selection Post Phase 8 Result 2021 : The Staff Selection Commission conducted SSC Phase 8 Examination in 2020 from october 2020 to November 2020 and the official answer keys for the same were released in December 2020. Now the ssc phase 8 result 2021 is awaited and the candidates are waiting for the Result to be declared by the commission.

AS per the latest Notification released by SSC in the exam calender of 2021 that the result for SSC phase 8 2021 will be declared on 9th April 2021. Candidates can check their result after it is posted on the official website of Staff Selection Commission. SSC Phase 8 exam was conducted at different levels such as matriculation level, secondary level and higher secondary level. so the result will be declared for different levels seperately and the cutoff and final merit list will be declared by the commission.

SSC Selection Post Phase 8 2021 : Selection Criteria

As soon as the result is declared by the commission the candidates can prepare themselves for the next stage of selection process. The candidates who clear the required minimum qualifying marks or Cutoff Marks will be called for next stage of scrutiny, Document Verification and Skill Test.

Stage of Scrutiny

The candidates scoring less than cut-off marks as given below will not be considered for the next stage of recruitment:

  • UR: 35%
  • OBC/ EWS: 30%
  • Other categories: 25%

Depending on the number of vacancies of a particular category of post, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage of scrutiny based on the score and merit of candidates in the Computer Based Examination in the following ratio:

  • In the ratio of 1:20, for up to 5 vacancies for any category of posts
  • In the ratio of 1:10, for more than 5 vacancies for any category of posts, subject to a minimum of 100.



Document Verification

  1. The candidates who are shortlisted for the next stage of scrutiny will be required to submit self attested copies of all the supporting documents in respect of Educational Qualification (EQ), Experience, Category, Age, Age-relaxation, etc. (as applicable) in hard copy along with the print out of their online application form, to the respective Regional/ Sub-Regional Office(s) to which the Post-Category belongs.
  2. All qualified candidates found clear at the Scrutiny Stage for a particular category of post, will be called for Document Verification (DV) by the Regional Office to which the concerned category of post belongs.

Required Documents for Verification Stage

Candidates will have to produce original documents at the time of document verification at the regional Centre :

  • Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate
  • Educational Qualification Certificate, as per the requirement of the Post-category applied for.
  • Order/ letter in respect of equivalent Educational Qualifications claimed, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated, in respect of equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent.
  • Experience Certificate, if required for the post
  • Caste/ Category Certificate, if belongs to reserved categories.
  • Persons with Disabilities Certificate in the required format, if applicable
  • Requisite Certificate for Ex-Servicemen (ESM)
  • No Objection Certificate
  • Any other document specified in the Admission Certificate for Document Verification.

The Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF 2021) is an initiative by the Government of India in collaboration with 9 hosts IIMs and 660 districts across India. MGNF is a two years Certificate Program in Public Policy and Management offered by IIMs. It has been designed at the initiative of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India (GoI). As the academic partner, IIMs will administer a blended program with both classroom interactions and district immersion components.

MGNF Programme Structure

Academic Module

The on-campus academic modules will offer applied and conceptual understanding of key ideas around management, development economics, skills, and integrated exposure to improve the Fellow’s ability to plan and link different activities to understand the development process. With each Academic Module containing 10 working days, the entire duration of the Academic Module is 40 class-room days and 108 days of district Immersion after each academic module at IIMs.

MGNF 2021 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for selection as a Fellow can be the following: 

  • Should be a citizen of India
  • Age between 21-30 years at the time of application
  • At least a graduate in any discipline (engineering, law, medicine, social sciences, etc.) from a recognized university or a post-graduate from a recognized university. 

MGNF 2021 Selection Process

The selection process of MGNF 2021 will include 2 phases :

  • Written Exam
  • Personal Interview

A multiple choice-based aptitude exam to test the applicant’s General Awareness (GA), Quantitative Ability (QA), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC). This will be physically conducted in each of the state capitals keeping in mind physical distancing norms and other relevant safeguards considering COVID-19. +3 marks will be awarded for correct answers and -1 mark will be deducted for Incorrect answers.

Candidates shortlisted after the MCQ based written exam will be invited for personal interaction comprising of three parts; namely Case Writing Ability (CWA) written exam, personal interview, and written Language Proficiency Test (LPT) to judge the candidate’s fit, motivation, and proficiency in the official language of the state applied for respectively. These interviews will be conducted in the state capitals. 



Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship Selection Process

MGNF Written Entrance Test

MGNF exam is a closed book written exam that will be conducted in capital cities of all major states and UTs. The name and location of the test center will be indicated in the MGNF Admit Card 2021 for candidates who have applied for the program.

The medium of instruction will be English. There will be 100 multiple choice-type questions consisting of four sections:

  • General Awareness (GA): This section is designed to check your awareness of the world around us.
  • Quantitative Ability (QA): This section will check for your ability to perform numerical and mathematical calculations at the class 10th level.
  • Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR): This section tests your decision-making ability when not all information is fully available.
  • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC): This section tests your ability to comprehend complex conceptual ideas and apply them.

The exam will be held on the 3rd week of April 2021. Candidates must report to the examination venue at least 60 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the exam.



Marking/grading scheme for MGNF Written Exam

  • The scoring scheme for Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) is as follows:
  • Each correct answer is awarded 3 marks.
  • An incorrect answer fetches -1.
  • MGNF entrance exam is for 2 Hours.
  • No marks are given or deducted for unattempted questions.
  •  There will be a negative grading, candidates are requested to read the exam instructions thoroughly.

MGNF Admit cards will be available from the 1st week of April 2021. Please note, Admit cards will not be mailed to candidates. Candidates have to log in to the application portal through the registration credentials to download the admit card.

MGNF Personal Interview

A personal interaction comprising of an interview, case analysis, and a language proficiency test to judge the candidate’s fit, motivation, and knowledge of the local language. These interviews will be conducted in the state capitals.
