1.
2.
3.
4.
The correct answer is option 3
According to the given figure,

The figure which cannot be formed by folding the given sheet is ‘3’.
Q.23 A recent survey of married couples in Indian metro cities showed that 20% of the couples have only child, 45% of the remaining couples have two children, and the rest of the couples have three or more children. What is the percentage of couples with three or more children?
1. 56%
2. 44%
3. 42%
4. 35%
The correct answer is option 2  i.e. 44%
Let married couples be ‘100x’
Couples having only child = 20x
Remaining couples = 100x – 20x = 80x
Couples having two children from remaining couples = 80x ×\frac {45}{100}=36x
Couples having three or more children from remaining = 100 – 45 = 55%
Then,  80x ×\frac {55}{100}= 44%
So, the percentage of couples with three or more children = 44%
Hence, ‘44%’ is the correct answer.

1. 85
2. 84
3. 255
4. 170
The correct answer is option 1 i.e 85
The pattern followed here is,
52 × 4 = 208
\frac { 52 }{ 4 } = 13
208 + 13 = 221
Similarly,
64 × 4 = 256
\frac { 64 }{ 4 } = 16
256 + 16 = 272
Similarly,
20 × 4 = 80
\frac { 20 }{ 4 } = 5
80 + 5 = 85
Hence, ’20 : 85’ is the correct answer.
