Q.1 Vineet, Rajesh and Kriti have different amount of money with them, Rajesh has just double the amount of money than Vineet. The total amount of money that Rajesh and Kriti have is Rs. 147. Kriti has Rs. 6 more than the amount Vineet has.
How much money does Kriti have?
1. Rs. 72
2. Rs. 50
3. Rs. 64
4. Rs. 53
Correct Answer is Option 4. i.e. Rs 53
Suppose Vineet has Rs. x.
Rajesh has Rs. 2x.
Kriti has Rs. x + 6.
(2x) + (x + 6) = 147
3x + 6 = 147
3x = 141
x = 47
Vineet has Rs. 47.
Kriti has 47 + 6 = Rs. 53
Hence, 53 is the correct answer.

Q.3 Four words have been given, of which three are alike in some manner, while the fourth one is different. Choose the odd one.
1. Schizophrenia
2. Measles
3. Polio
4. Rabies
The correct answer is option 1 i.e. Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia affects persons ability to think, feel and behave clearly. This is chronic disease and cannot be cured. Whereas Rabies, Measles and Polio are viral diseases and can be cured with vaccination.
Q.4 Select the dice that can be formed by folding the given sheet along the lines.

1. Only A and B
2. Only A
3. Only B
4. Only C and D
The correct answer is option 4 i.e. uEx
We solve the question by eliminating the answer
5 and 6 will lie on opposite side of dice, thus options 1 and 3 are eliminated.
2 and 3 will lie on opposite side of dice, thus option 4 is eliminated.

1.
2.
3.
4.
The correct answer is option 4
The diamond shape is moving clockwise, and the number of blocks it skips increases by 1 at each step.
The plus sign also repeats the same pattern but anticlockwise.
Q.7 Study the given pattern carefully and select the number that can replace the question mark (?) in it.

1. 30
2. 24
3. 28
4. 14

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 14
The logic followed here is,
21 × 19 = 399; 399 – 100 = 299
18 × 22 = 396; 396 – 100 = 296
Similarly,
32 × 14 = 448; 448 – 100 = 348

V + 3 = Y
Y + 3 = B
B + 3 = E
Foe middle letter
A + 4 = E
E + 4 = I
I + 6 = O
O + 6 = U
For last letter
T + 3 = W
W + 3 = Z
Z + 3 = C
C + 3 = F

4. (18, 185, 360)
The correct answer is option 1 i.e. (11, 154, 308)
The logic followed here is,
7 × 14 = 98; 7 × 28 = 196 → (7, 98, 196)
Similarly,
11 × 14 = 154; 11 × 28 = 308 → (11, 154, 308)

1. + and – ; 7 and 11
2. × and ÷ ; 35 and 56
3. × and ÷ ; 35 and 11
4. + and – ; 35 and 11
The correct answer is option 3 i.e. × and ÷ ; 35 and 11
Given Expression: 11 × 7 ÷ 35 – 64 + 56 = 47
3) Option 1: × and ÷; 35 and 11
 (35 ÷ 7) × 11 – 64 + 56
= (5 × 11) – 64 + 56
= 55 – 64 + 56
= 111 – 64
47

3. 11 : 143
4. 17 : 323
The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 19 : 475
Let’s check each option:
1) 23 × 29 = 667
2) 19 × 23 = 437 ≠ 475
3) 11 × 13 = 143, where 13 is the next prime number after 11.
4) 17 × 19 = 323
Q.13 Read the given statements and conclusions carefully. Assuming that the information given in the statements is true, even if it appears to be at variance with commonly known facts, decide which of the given conclusions logically follow from the statements:
Statements:
1. Some papers are copies
2. No copy is an eraser.
Conclusions:
I. Some copies are papers
II. Some papers are erasers.
III. No paper is an eraser.
1. Only conclusion I and either conclusion II or III follow.
2. Only Conclusion II and either conclusion I or III follow.
3. Only conclusions I and II follow.
4. Only conclusions I and III follow
The correct answer is option 1 i.e. Only conclusion I and either conclusion II or III follow.
The logical Venn diagram according to given statements is,
Conclusions:
I. Some copies are papers → True (Some papers are copies)
II. Some papers are erasers. → False (it is possible but not definite)
III. No paper is an eraser. → False (it is possible but not definite)
Thus, II and III form a complementary pair.
Therefore, only conclusion I and either conclusion II or III follows.
