The Padma awards are the highest civilian awards in India, but these awards are not restricted to be awarded only to Indian Civilians but also to the foreigners. The Padma awards are categorized into three categories namely Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri. These awards are given to awardees according to their achievements in different fields like art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service, etc. here is the Complete list of Padma Awards winners 2021.

Padma awards are conferred on by Hon’ble President of India, on the recommendations of Padma awards committee, constituted by The Prime Minister for the purpose. The Nomination process is open to the public. The Padma awards are given by President on the ceremonial occasion in The Rashtrapati Bhawan(President’s Estate) at New Delhi, in around May/April every year. This year 119 Padma awards has been approved by the President, which includes 7 Padma Vibhushan10 Padma Bhushan, and 102 Padma Shri Awards. In this list 29 of the awardees are women,10 persons from the category of Foreigners,16 Posthumous awardees, and 1 transgender awardee.
