Before starting preparation of NDA 2021, it is very much necessary to go through the prescribed syllabus of NDA 2021 given by UPSC. The Syllabus helps in understanding the demand of the exam. Let us see the complete NDA Syllabus in detail.
PAPER-I – MATHEMATICS(01) – 300 Marks
ALGEBRA : Concept of set, operations on sets, Venn diagrams. De Morgan laws, Cartesian product, relation, equivalence relation. Representation of real numbers on a line. Complex numbers—basic properties, modulus, argument, cube roots of unity. Binary system of numbers. Conversion of a number in decimal system to binary system and vice-versa. PAPER-II – GENERAL ABILITY TEST(02) – 600 Marks
Part ‘A’—ENGLISH (Maximum Marks—200) The question paper in English will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding of English and workman like use of words. The syllabus covers various aspects like : Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension and cohesion in extended text to test the candidate’s proficiency in English.

UPSC NDA Selection process comprises two stages i.e. Written Exam & SSB Interview. There will be two papers in the written exam. Solve Previous Year Question Paper
The candidates are advised to practice questions from the previous year’s question paper. In the Mathematics section, the marks allotted for every right answer are 2.5 marks and a negative marking of 0.85 for every wrong answer.
