#10. University of Hyderabad
NIRF University Ranking 2022: The University of Hyderabad is a prestigious public, central, research institute located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India .
Founded in 1974, this mostly residential campus has more than 5,000 students and 400 faculty, from several disciplines. The governor of the state of Telangana is ex-officio the chief rector of the university, while the President of India is the visitor to the university.In January 2015, the University of Hyderabad received the Visitor’s Award for the Best Central University in India, awarded by the President of India. The university is located in Gachibowli, on 2300-odd acres. The campus is rich in flora and fauna, home to over 734 flower plants, ten species of mammals, fifteen species of reptiles and 220 species of birds.
The University of Hyderabad was ranked 601–650 in the QS World University Rankings of 2020. It is ranked 15 in India overall and sixth in India among universities by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2020. In 2020, the university was ranked 2nd among India’s government universities by India Today.
A total of 485 students were placed and 185 companies visited during University of Hyderabad placements 2022. Further, the highest package offered during UoH placements 2022 was INR 23 LPA. The top recruiters of University of Hyderabad (UoH) in 2022 included leading companies such as TCS, Deloitte and Flipkart.
Earlier, the highest package offered during University of Hyderabad placements 2021 was INR 17.7 LPA. Further, the average package offered during HCU (Hyderabad Central University) placements 2021 was INR 3.5 LPA. It is to note that all 396 students were placed during Central University of Hyderabad placements 2021.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a private deemed university Located in Katpadi in Vellore, India. Founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College by G. Viswanathan, the institution offers 64 Undergraduate, 35 Postgraduate, 16 Integrated, 2 Research and 2 M.Tech Industrial Programmes. It has campuses in Vellore and Chennai and sister universities in Amaravati and Bhopal. In 2022, the VIT group entered into the domain of school education.

#8. Calcutta University
The University of Calcutta (informally known as Calcutta University; abbreviated as CU) is a highest public research university located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It has 151 affiliated undergraduate colleges and 16 institutes in Kolkata and nearby areas. It was established on 24 January 1857 and is the first multidisciplinary and Western-style institution in Asia. Today, the university’s jurisdiction is limited to a few districts of West Bengal, but at the time of establishment it had a catchment area, ranging from Lahore to Myanmar. Within India, it is recognized as a “Five-Star University” and accredited an “A” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University of Calcutta was awarded the status of “Centre with Potential for Excellence in Particular Area” and “University with potential for excellence” by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Internationally, the University of Calcutta was ranked 801–1000 in the QS World University Rankings of 2021. The same rankings ranked it 154 in Asia and 68 among BRICS nations.
In India, the University of Calcutta was ranked 11th overall by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2021 and 4th among universities. In 2019 NIRF rankings, it ranked among the top five universities in India.

#7. Manipal Academy of Higher Education
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is a private deemed university located in Manipal, India. The university also has campuses in Mangalore, Bengaluru , Malacca, and Dubai. As of 2021, Manipal offers more than 350 programs across 30 disciplines and ranks 7th among Indian universities.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education was ranked 751-800 in the QS World University Rankings of 2022. The same rankings ranked it 230 in Asia in 2021 and 120 among BRICS nations in 2019. In the 2021 QS World University Rankings, MAHE was ranked 351-400 in Medicine.
In India, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked Manipal Academy of Higher Education 15th overall and 7th among universities in 2021. NIRF also ranked the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences 8th.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) formerly Central Hindu College, is a collegiate, central, and research university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in 1916 jointly by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, the Maharaja of Darbhanga Rameshwar Singh, Maharaja of Banaras Prabhu Narayan Singh, Sunder Lal and British Theosophist and Home Rule League founder Annie Besant. With over 30,000 students, and 18,000 residing on campus, BHU is the largest residential university in Asia. The university is one of the eight public institutions declared as an Institute of Eminence by the Government of India.
Internationally, BHU was ranked 601–800 in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings of 2022 and 153 in Asia in 2022.
In India, the 2022 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked BHU sixth among universities and eleventh overall. In NIRF 2022 rankings, BHU ranked fifth in medical, 20 in law and 50 in management. The university was ranked seventh among universities in India by Outlook India in 2020.Its engineering institute, IIT-BHU, was ranked thirteenth by the NIRF Engineering ranking for 2021. The Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University was ranked fifth in India by Outlook India‘s “India’s Top 30 Law Colleges In 2019” and seventh in India by The Week‘s “Top Law Colleges 2019”. The Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University was ranked fifth among medical colleges in India in 2022 by NIRF. It was ranked seventh among medical colleges in India in 2020 by India Today, sixth by The Week and eight by Outlook India.
This year around 25+ companies visited the campus placement drive for MBA 2020 recruitment of some of the most intelligent minds of the country. With companies varying from different sectors, the placement drive was an enormous success. With an average of 84% of students successfully placed in the MBA 2020 Batch. The highest package offered was of 16 LPA in 2020 recruitments. 140+ offers were received and 126 students successfully placed.

Jadavpur University is a public technical university located in Jadavpur, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was established in 1905 as Bengal Technical Institute and was converted into Jadavpur University in 1955. #3. Jamia Milia Islamia
Jamia Millia Islamia (lit. ’National Islamic University’) is a central university located in New Delhi, India. Originally established at Aligarh, United Provinces (present-day Uttar Pradesh, India) during the British Raj in 1920, it moved to its current location in Okhla in 1935. It was given the deemed status by University Grants Commission in 1962. On 26 December 1988, it became a central university.

The application process for the Narendra summer internship programme 2022 will be open from May 4 to May 10. The institute has not released the 2022 placement details. However, the NIRF report 2022 is released, according to which a total of 6 UG and 270 PG students were placed during 2021 placements. The median package offered to UG (4 years) students was INR 13.50 LPA and for PG programmes, it ranged from INR 20 LPA to INR 21.69 LPA. Additionally, the highest and average packages offered to Indian Institute of Science Bangalore MMS students were INR 39.5 LPA and INR 26.8 LPA, respectively.
