UPSC EPFO 2022 Eligibility Criteria 

UPSC has released the EPFO eligibility criteria 2020-21 for AO/EO post along with the notification. Candidates must check the EPFO eligibility 2021 before applying for the exam. The EPFO eligibility includes age eligibility, educational qualification, and nationality. there is no mention of EPFO eligibility percentage in graduation however, there is a mention of a desirable graduation stream.

The EPFO eligibility criteria mention nationality eligibility as follows. The applicant must belong to one of the mentioned criteria:

  • an Indian Citizen
  • subject of Nepal
  • subject of Bhutan
  • a refugee from Tibet who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
  • an Indian origin person who has come from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the aim of permanently settling in India.

UPSC EPFO 2022 Exam Pattern

(i) The Offline test will be of two hours duration

(ii) All questions will carry equal marks.

(iii) The test will be objective-type questions with multiple choice answers.

(iv) The medium of the test will be both Hindi and English.

(v) There will be a penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.
