NIRF University Ranking 2022: The University of Hyderabad is a prestigious public, central, research institute located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India .

Founded in 1974, this mostly residential campus has more than 5,000 students and 400 faculty, from several disciplines. The governor of the state of Telangana is ex-officio the chief rector of the university, while the President of India is the visitor to the university.In January 2015, the University of Hyderabad received the Visitor’s Award for the Best Central University in India, awarded by the President of India. The university is located in Gachibowli, on 2300-odd acres. RANKINGS

The University of Hyderabad was ranked 601–650 in the QS World University Rankings of 2020. It is ranked 15 in India overall and sixth in India among universities by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2020. In 2020, the university was ranked 2nd among India’s government universities by India Today.

PLACEMENT

A total of 485 students were placed and 185 companies visited during University of Hyderabad placements 2022. Further, the highest package offered during UoH placements 2022 was INR 23 LPA. The top recruiters of University of Hyderabad (UoH) in 2022 included leading companies such as TCS, Deloitte and Flipkart.

Earlier, the highest package offered during University of Hyderabad placements 2021 was INR 17.7 LPA. Further, the average package offered during HCU (Hyderabad Central University) placements 2021 was INR 3.5 LPA. It is to note that all 396 students were placed during Central University of Hyderabad placements 2021.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a private deemed university Located in Katpadi in Vellore, India. Founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College by G. Viswanathan, the institution offers 64 Undergraduate, 35 Postgraduate, 16 Integrated, 2 Research and 2 M.Tech Industrial Programmes. The University of Calcutta (informally known as Calcutta University; abbreviated as CU) is a highest public research university located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It has 151 affiliated undergraduate colleges and 16 institutes in Kolkata and nearby areas. It was established on 24 January 1857 and is the first multidisciplinary and Western-style institution in Asia. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) formerly Central Hindu College, is a collegiate, central, and research university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. PLACEMENT

This year around 25+ companies visited the campus placement drive for MBA 2020 recruitment of some of the most intelligent minds of the country. Jamia Millia Islamia (lit. ’National Islamic University’) is a central university located in New Delhi, India. Originally established at Aligarh, United Provinces (present-day Uttar Pradesh, India) during the British Raj in 1920, it moved to its current location in Okhla in 1935. The application process for the Narendra summer internship programme 2022 will be open from May 4 to May 10. The institute has not released the 2022 placement details. The Syllabus for General Intelligence would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. Arithmetic sequence

In mathematics, the arithmetic sequence is widely used to find the sequence of the algebraic expression or data observations. It follows a pattern of taking a similar distance between two consecutive numbers. A similar distance can be positive or negative.

Any series that has the same distance among two consecutive numbers from any place refers to the arithmetic sequence. In this post, we will learn the basics of arithmetic sequence along with solved examples.

What is an arithmetic sequence?

In algebra, an ordered set of numbers that have a common difference between each consecutive term is known as an arithmetic sequence. In simple words, if the difference between two consecutive terms remains unchanged at any place is said to be the arithmetic sequence.

The list of sequence can be found easily if the first term and the constant term of the sequence is given. You have to add the constant term to the previous term each time to make an accurate arithmetic sequence. 

The constant term is also called the common difference; the reason is that the difference of each consecutive term is the same. Natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, even numbers, odd numbers, etc. are examples of an arithmetic sequence. 

The arithmetic sequence is of two kinds depending on the constant term. 

  • Increasing arithmetic sequence
  • Decreasing arithmetic sequence

Let’s take a brief overview of the above terms.

Increasing arithmetic sequence

In an arithmetic sequence, the terms are in increasing order if the constant term of the sequence is positive. For example, if the initial value of the sequence is 13 and the constant term of the sequence is 4, then the sequence is 

13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, 37, 41, 45, 49, 53, ….

The sequence is increasing as the value goes from least to greatest. 

Decreasing arithmetic sequence

In an arithmetic sequence, the terms are in decreasing order if the constant term of the sequence is negative. For example, if the initial value of the sequence is 39 and the constant term of the sequence is -2, then the sequence is 

39, 37, 35, 33, 31, 29, 27, 25, 23, 21, 19, ….

The sequence is decreasing as the value goes from greatest to least. 

Arithmetic sequence formula

Three kinds of formulas are used in the arithmetic sequence such as:

  • For nth term 
  • For the sum of the sequence 
  • For finding the common difference

Let’s have a look at these formulas.

For nth term

The nth term of the arithmetic sequence can be determined by following the below formula.

nth term of the sequence= xn = x1 + (n – 1) * d

  • xn = the nth term 
  • x1 = the first term of the sequence 
  • n = total number of terms
  • d = common difference

For the sum of the sequence

The sum of the sequence can be calculated easily by following the below formula.

Sum of the sequence = s = n/2 * (2x1 + (n – 1) * d)

  • x1 = the first term of the sequence 
  • n = total number of terms
  • d = common difference

For finding the common difference 

To find the common difference in the sequence, follow the below formula.

Common difference = d = xn – xn-1 

Examples of the arithmetic sequence

The arithmetic sequence can be determined either by using its formulas. Let us take a few examples to solve the problems of arithmetic sequence manually. 

For the nth term of the sequence

Example 1:

Evaluate the 18th term of the sequence, if the arithmetic sequence is 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35, 39, 43, 47, 51, 55, 59, …

Solution 

Step I: Firstly, write the given sequence of numbers. 

15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35, 39, 43, 47, 51, 55, 59, …

Step II: Now evaluate the first term and the constant term of the sequence.

n = 18

a1 = 15

a2 = 19

Common difference = d = x2 – x1 

Common difference = d = 19 – 15

Common difference = d = 4

Step III: Now take the formula for finding the nth term of the sequence.

nth term of the sequence= xn = x1 + (n – 1) * d

Step IV: Now place the first term, common term, and total terms in the above formula.

18th term of the sequence= a18 = x1 + (18 – 1) * d

                                                        = 15 + (18 – 1) * 4

                                                        = 15 + (17) * 4

                                                        = 15 + 68

                                                        = 83

Medical standard (For all posts):


Medical Examination: All the candidates who qualify in Paper-II will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade-I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary. Candidates, who are found to be unfit, will be informed of the position and they can make an appeal before Review Medical Board within the prescribed time limit of 15 days. The decision of the Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be final and no appeal/representation against the decision of the Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be entertained.
Eye sight: The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. In right-handed person, the right eye is a better eye and vice versa.

The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.

They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of their duties.
